How to Create a Hybrid SaaS SQL Server
- Log in to the Azure Portal with an Administrator account.
- Click "Create a resource"
- Search for "Azure SQL" and select it from the dropdown.
- Click "Create"
- Use the dropdown in the SQL databases section to select "Database server"
- Click "Create"
- Fill out the details for your new SQL Server, giving it a Subscription, Resource group, name, and Location of your choice. Fill out a SQL Server admin login and password for the server, and record them to send to the tyGraph team. Finally, click the "Review + create" button.
- Click "Go to resource" to open the new SQL Server.
- Copy the Server name to send to the tyGraph Team.
- Open the "Networking" panel.
- Click "Add a firewall rule"
- Give the rule a name of "tyGraph Ops 01", a Start IP of "168.62.245.53", and an End IP of "168.62.245.53", then click OK.
- Repeat steps 11 and 12, creating the rule "tyGraph Ops 02", with a Start and End IP of "52.159.127.142"
- Click "Save"
- Send the Server admin login, Server admin password, and Server name values to the tyGraph team using a secure method in accordance with your company policies. If you do not have an established method of secure transfer, consider using https://onetimesecret.com/.
