The tyGraph for Atlas report provides adoption and engagement analytics for Atlas within your Microsoft 365 tenant. tyGraph for Atlas is a simplified experience dedicated to perspective that matter to Intranet Owners using the Atlas product.
Important: The tyGraph Pages Engine is required for tyGraph for Atlas.

Atlas Adoption
Comparison measures
The Comparison measures are intended to provide different perspectives on the same data to meet your reporting needs and are explained below:
- First v Last Full Month uses the first full month of tyGraph data and compares it to the last full month of tyGraph data. This comparison measure is best used when showing how far the organization has come with Atlas adoption and engagement.
- General Change uses all available tyGraph data for the report. This is the default comparison measure delivered with the Atlas report and is best used for new tyGraph for Atlas customers.
- Month Over Month uses all full months of tyGraph data to provide monthly active usage statistics. Month Over Month is best used for tracking the Atlas adoption and engagement.
- Period Over Period takes the user-specified date range of tyGraph data and compares it to the same number of previous days. Period Over Period is best used for ad-hoc analysis of Atlas adoption.
- Year Over Year uses all full years of tyGraph data to provide yearly active usage statistics. Year Over Year is best used for comparing Atlas adoption and engagement in the long term.
Changing the Comparision measures changes the report visuals to match the measure name. For example, changing from "General Change" to "Month Over Month" will update the Active Users visual to Monthly Active Users. See the example images below.

Report Breakdown
Active Users show the total unique users who have used Atlas during the reporting period. The data visualization includes a solid line chart to show the measure over time and a key performance indicator (KPI) that indicates the comparative performance for the Comparision measure selected. Active Users is complimented by the Unique Page Viewers by Month visual that plots the total unique users over time.
% Active Users is the percentage of active users over the total number of users in the organization. The visual includes a KPI that indicates the comparative performance. % Active Users is complimented by the Active Users % by Month visual that plots the % Active Users over time with benchmark scores of Average (30%) and Good (50%) added for context.
Balance of Active Users shows the count of active users and non-active users. Non-active users are calculated from users. that have used Atlas before.
Active Users by Adoption Level is the distribution of active users by how frequently they use Atlas on average with Used Atlas 3+ Days/Week being highly adopted. Balance of Active Users is complimented by the Unique Page Viewers by Adoption Levels by Month and Adoption Level that plots adoption level over time.
Atlas Clicks is the total number of clicks on Atlas elements. The data visualization includes a solid line chart to show the measure over time and a KPI that indicates the comparative performance. Atlas Clicks is complimented by the Atlas Component Clicks by Month visual that plots the total number of clicks on Atlas content over time.
Non Atlas Clicks is the total number of clicks on non-Atlas elements. The data visualization includes a KPI that indicates the comparative performance. Non Atlas Clicks is complimented by the Non Atlas Component Clicks by Month visual that plots the total number of clicks on Non Atlas Components Clicks by Month over time.
Active Users by Client Type is the total unique viewers by Client Type hierarchy. This includes operating system group, operating system, browser group, and browser. Use the drill buttons to navigate the hierarchy. Active Users by Client Type is complemented by the Active Users by Month and Client Type visual that plots the total unique viewers by Client Type over time.
Atlas Pages by Atlas Template is the total unique pages with activity against them during the reporting period. The Atlas Pages by Atlas Template is complemented by the Active Pages by Month and Atlas Template visual that plots the total unique pages by Atlas Template over time.
Site Engagement
Report Breakdown
Content Navigator lists all SharePoint Hubs and sites by Unique Viewers and Pageviews with the ability to drill further into the site pages.
The Content Navigator includes the following drill-through options for further detailed analysis:
- See All Pages opens the Page Performance report for all pages in the tenant. Page Performance provides detailed viewership, user journey, and interaction data.
- See This Site opens the Site Audience report for any select Hub or site. Site Audience provides detailed viewership, location, authorship, and platform data for site and page-level analytics. Measures include unique viewers, page views, number of sessions, and average session duration.
- See This Page opens the Page Performance report for the selected page and provides detailed viewership, user journey, and interaction data.
Page Author Department shows page activity by page author department with the ability to drill down to page author country and page author email address. Blank entries are from system-generated pages like the default home page.
Click Area shows the click activity on the different sites and page elements that users are interacting with. Click Area can include navigation, web-part, link, and other interactive elements. Click Area can be drilled down to sub-elements when available.
Audience Peak Time shows the hour of highest activity for all sites selected in the Site Engagement report. Audience Peak Time includes the ability to display the activity over time using the "Plot this Below" functionality. Unique Page Viewers by Hour 12h can be drilled up and down to show dates and exact times as desired.
Peak Day of the Week shows the day of highest activity for all sites selected in the Site Engagement report. Peak Day of the Week includes the ability to display the activity over time using the "Plot this Below" functionality. Unique Page Viewers by Day Of Week can be drilled up and down to show dates and exact times as desired.
Further complimenting the Audience Peak Time and Peak Day of the Week visuals is the ability to view activity by day of the week and hour day in heatmap format by clicking on the Detailed Audience Peaks button.
Pages Created shows the total number of pages created during the reporting period. Pages Created includes the ability to display page creation over time using the "Plot this Below" functionality. Pages Created by Month can be drilled up and down to show dates and exact times as desired.
Avg. Views Per User displays the average number of page views by users during the reporting period.
Unique Page Viewers by Client Type shows the number of users interacting with Atlas content by the end-user platform - i.e. desktop browser, mobile browser, etc. This visual can be drilled up to view by desktop vs mobile and down to the operating system and browser version as desired.
Session Frequency shows how long users have spent away from your content before visiting again. This is not unique to a viewer so a person could be counted in multiple categories for the reporting period.

Page Author - Consecutive Weeks by Page Author Department (Knowledge Author) is the consecutive number of weeks where an Author has published at least one Knowledge Page.
Page Author - Consecutive Weeks by Page Author Department (News Author) is the consecutive number of weeks where an Author has published at least one News Page.
Pages Created by Column Value shows the ranking of terms (tags) by the number of times their associated content has been liked.
Pages Created by Column Value shows the highest ranked terms (tags) based on the number of times a term has been tagged to a document, page, or another content item.
Top 10 News shows the top news pages based on the number of likes and comments combined.
Top 10 Knowledge shows the top knowledge pages based on the number of likes and comments combined.
Page Metadata

Verified Unique Readers show unique users who have had a minimum read time (minutes) and scroll distance down the page. The data visualization includes a KPI that indicates the comparative performance. Verified Unique Readers is complemented by the Verified Unique Read by Week Of visual that plots Verified Unique Readers over time.
Verified Unique Readers includes the ability to dynamically adjust the time on a page and the page scroll percentage for a custom definition of Reader.
Tags show the total number of pages viewed where the page has an associated metadata tag. The data visualization includes a KPI that indicates the comparative performance. Tags are complemented by the Unique Topics Viewed by Week Of visual that plots Tags activity over time.
Bounce Rate is the percentage of views where the person viewed and immediately backed out. The lower the percentage the better. Below 10% is excellent, around 20% is good, and above 40% is generally bad. The data visualization includes a KPI that indicates the comparative performance. Bounce Rate is complemented by the Bounce Rate by Week Of visual that plots Bounce Rate over time.
Exits are the last page view in a user's session. Exits are related to Bounces because a bounce is when someone exits the page in the same way they entered. Basically, a bounce is a specific type of exit. Exits are important to measure because they indicate that users stopped their session with your content. This could be good or bad depending on the view duration and purpose of the page. High exits in navigational pages can be seen as a bad thing as you would expect users to use them to move from your landing area to an informational page. So if you see high exits or a high exit rate on your hub pages then consider improving the navigation experience. Users could be missing buttons hard-to-find areas or are not finding the content they are looking for. The data visualization includes a KPI that indicates the comparative performance. Exists is complemented by the Exists (% of views) by Week Of visual that plots Exits over time.
Viewer Churn tells you the percentage of users who stopped viewing content during this period. This is calculated from the number of users that did not view this period but did in the prior period divided by the total previous and current viewers. The data visualization includes a KPI that indicates the comparative performance. Viewer Churn is complemented by the Unique Page Viewers Churn by Week Of visual that plots Viewer Churn over time.
Scroll % shows how far on average users scroll down on a page or news article. Page views with no scrolling are assumed to be 100% scrolled. The data visualization includes a KPI that indicates the comparative performance. Scroll % is complemented by the Scroll Percent by Week Of that plots Scroll % over time.
Average Minutes on Page shows how long on average users spend on a page or news article measured in minutes. The data visualization includes a KPI that indicates the comparative performance. Average Minutes on Page is complemented by the Average Minutes on Page by Week Of that plots Average Minutes on Page over time.
Active Pages by Tag summarizes the number of active pages and news articles by metadata tag. Active Pages by Tag is complemented by the Unique Page Viewers by Tag visual that ranks unique page viewers by tag.
Active Pages by Tag can be toggled to show Unique Page Viewers by Page Name & URL.
Active Pages by Tag can also be toggled to show Unique Page Viewers by Country.
Unique Page Viewers by Tag summarizes the number of unique page viewers by metadata tag. Unique Page Viewers by Tag is complemented by the Average Minutes on Page by Tag visual that shows how long on average users spend on a page or news article measured in minutes by tag.
Unique Page Viewers by Tag can be toggled to show Average Minutes On Page by Name & URL.
Unique Page Viewers by Tag can be toggled to show Unique Page Viewers by Country.
Pageviews by Scroll Percent shows how far on average users scroll down on a page or news article.
Content Comparision summaries all of the key page performance metrics into a single table by Page Name & Url. Content Comparision includes the following measures:

- Exits %

Content Comparision can be drilled down to Term and drill up through Site to Hub.
